The VRQ qualification is the perfect step for anyone who wants to become a professional nail technician. This VRQ, nationally recognised qualification is noted by Ofqual, as the equivalent to the NVQ Level 2 qualification.
The VRQ Level 2 Certificate in Nail Technology allows students to learn the practical and theoretical skills needed in order to provide nail treatments.

Students must be over the age of 16 before commencing with this training course.
It is recommended that learners should have achieved a level of education equivalent to five GCSEs at grades A* - C, prior to commencing the ITEC VRQ level 2 Certificate in Nail Technology. Exemptions may be made, however, for adult learners with experience of the work place.

If you are a non-EEA or Swiss national you must have the correct visa to study a short course in the UK. It is your own responsibility to check your visa status and ensure you obtain the correct visa before travelling to the UK.
Non-EEA/International students' visas and passports will need to be verified by the Academy, prior to commencement of the course.


Students will receive a nationally recognised VRQ Level 2 qualification upon completion of this course which is accredited by ITEC. Enabling students to apply for licenses in many London boroughs, as well as apply for insurance, which is necessary to work in the UK.
