News this week of a possible double-dip recession does not seem to have effected women’s desire to look good. Beauty and nail salons throughout the country continue to see growth, despite the apparent lack of funds. Fears from those on nail courses who believe their skills will not be put to good use after they have completed their training are completely unfounded.

A recent article in a popular UK newspaper published yesterday showed treatments such as threading and eyelash extensions are still just as popular as they were before news of a second recession hit the headlines. For anyone who studies beauty therapy or has participated in a threading course should know that beauty is not something women will easily give up.

Cosmetics and the treatments associated with them that make millions of people around the world feel good about themselves will always be popular and something that, despite a limited amount of resources, will never fall by the way-side.
