Students on nail courses were today surprised to learn of their idol, Jamie Stevens, the celebrity stylist who has worked with stars such as Kylie, Stella McCartney and Elle Macpherson and who has been nominated for four, yes, four British Hairdressing Awards this year alone, is soon to be seen on the new X factor side-show, The Style Team.
The style team will be working with the final 14 contestants. The team consists of several high-profile hairdressers and make-up artists.
Jamie said: “The X Factor is the biggest talent makeover contest in the UK and having my name affiliated with the Style Team is my biggest honour to date. My goal is to educate people on hair; why I’m colouring it red, why I’m cutting it in such a way, 90% of a makeover is hair. Transformations are already under way now, with BIG things to come for the live shows. Exciting times ahead.”
