Nail art can be a fun profession or past-time, but without the correct implements such as brushes, many find it difficult to reach their desired result. Today, we’ll be looking at the different types of nail art brushes nail artists use to create stunning designs.

Changing Lengths

Different lengths of brushes allow the nail technician to create longer, more elegant strokes to the nails. They come in a range of styles from small through to extra-long which is about 4cm long! These styles of brushes are very thin and can only really be used for strokes rather than specific details.

Dotting Tool

Dotting Tools are used to pick up small nail art items, such as rhinestones or glitter. The dotting tool is one of the most common implements in a nail artist’s brush book. Many non-professionals use toothpicks or other very narrow utensils to create a similar effects. With a dotting tool, however, it not only looks more professional, but it lasts longer than a toothpick too!

Wide Nail Art Brushes

Wide nail art brushes are useful, although, not the most popular style of brush. They are mainly used to create wider, straighter lines on the nails, and make it much easier to paint large designs when time is of the essence. Many people on nail courses who need to be able to do nail art quickly prefer this brush to other straight brushes as they can use the sides to create fairly thin, solid looking lines and designs.
