Vitamin E is one of the most useful vitamins for human beings: it is an important antioxidant and has a vast range of benefits for the skin.

Students who attend beauty courses may know that in 1968, vitamin E was recognised as an essential vitamin for humans, it has now become one of the most widely used vitamins in beauty products throughout the world.

Vitamin E can be found in nuts, seeds, vegetable oils and greens. Scientists estimate that as much as two-thirds of human vitamin E intake comes from salad oils and margarine.

Natural intake of this vitamin is generally more preferential, although, many take capsules of vitamin E orally. People take vitamin E as supplements to their diet owing to not only its antioxidant properties, but also its benefits to blood circulation which aids in the development and growth of hair and nails.  It is thought to slow the effects of sun damage and helps to keep the skin well oiled, improving the look of your skin.

People on beauty courses have been told that they can find vitamin E as an added ingredient in a wide range of skin-care products. From creams to anti-ageing treatments, vitamin E has found its place in the exciting and fast-paced world of beauty therapy.
