Beauty Treatments

Beauty treatments are always popular

Tesco, one of the largest supermarket chains in the UK, has launched a series of in-store salons so that you can relax and pamper yourself after a hard shop!

They are set to launch several exciting new salons which will provide beauty treatments including leg waxes, hair cuts, hair styling services and nail services.  A number of job opportuntities are thought to arise as a result of a planned 70 more salons opening within the next year.

These affordable and fast treatments have caused some to question the ability of many smaller salon’s ability to compete with such a large organisation.

“We know beauty treatments are very popular with many people these days, and we feel the convenience of great value and quality services from manicures to full waxing and styling could be a success with customers,” said Andrew Carpenter, Beauty Category Manager at Tesco.

Whether Tesco’s new concept takes off will remain to be seen. Andrew Carpenter said “We are only at the testing stage currently and keen to understand how our customers receive the service in these stores”.

The launch of so many salons from Tesco should inevitably lead to many more job opportunities for Beauty Therapists and Nail Technicians throughout the country.

The popularity of beauty treatments rarely ceases. Our beauty courses can teach you the skills you’ll need as a professional Beauty Therapist.
